I chose Slovenia as one of my interrailing destinations when I took a trip around Europe, and it did not disappoint. It felt so clean—everything seemed unspoiled and natural, which is something of a rarity around the world!

Both spring and summer are amazing times to visit Slovenia. It is still an underrated gem, so it benefits from far fewer crowds, especially compared to its neighbouring countries.
