Ah, Slovenia, what a treat! Expect vast, picturesque landscapes mixed with serene nature in many areas of Slovenia. Take a walk around the ever-famous Lake Bled with its postcard-worthy views, or venture into the unknown through millions of years of geological formation in the Postojna Caves.

I chose Slovenia as one of my interrailing destinations when I took a trip around Europe, and it did not disappoint. It felt so clean—everything seemed unspoiled and natural, which is something of a rarity around the world!
